FORT WAYNE— Due to immense public interest, the Allen County Democratic Party today announced a change of venue for the mayoral vacancy town hall. The town hall with all official candidates will now be held at the Classic Ballroom in Walb Student Union at Purdue Fort Wayne.
All candidates who have filed by the April 17th deadline and meet the requirements to run will attend the town hall and have an opportunity to speak to the public, and the Democratic precinct chairs who will vote in the vacancy caucus. The public is encouraged to attend, but some seats will be reserved for precinct chairs.
