ACDP will move into downtown Journal Gazette Building across from Courthouse
FORT WAYNE – The Allen County Democratic Party is excited to announce a return to downtown Fort Wayne. The Journal Gazette Building at 701 S. Clinton St. was previously the ACDP headquarters location in the 1970s and 1980s. Located on the corner of Clinton St. and Main St., ACDP will again hold the best piece of political real estate in Allen County, greeting everyone immediately as they enter downtown.
“The party is coming home to downtown Fort Wayne and we couldn’t be happier,” said Allen County Democratic Party Chairman Derek Camp. “Our headquarters will be an asset to candidates and the party for years to come. We’ve made great progress in the last two years, and this new office should be an indication to everyone that the Allen County Democratic Party will continue to make a difference in the lives of Hoosiers.”
This new location will centralize ACDP within Allen County and offer increased credibility and visibility within the city to voters, donors, and supporters alike. The office will also provide a convenient location for candidates and volunteers to work and gather, as well as a space for events.
“Our party has grown tremendously the last two years and we believe that this move will help to spread our party’s message and help recruit new candidates and volunteers,” said Camp. “This will help not only our county party in the long run but help us assist our fellow Democrats throughout Northeast Indiana for years to come.”
